Who needs Medical ADHC(Adult Day Health Center)?
OTRADA ADHC(Adult Day Care Center), Needham & Newton MA provides a program of medical, social recreational health activities and services in a group setting that:
- Offer opportunity to socialize, enjoy peer support and receive medical care in stimulating and supportive environment that promotes optimum physical and mental health
- Provides respite care to families and care givers who have responsibility to care for older adult which can not be left at home unattended and yet does not require 24-hour institutional care
- Assist functionally impaired adults with ADLs (Adult Daily Lifes) to maintain their level of independence
- Helps mentally and/or physically challenged adults to maintain and/or improve their level of functioning in order to remain in the community
Services: OTRADA ADHC (Adult Day Health Center) provides vast array of services to meet the need of each participant who attends the center on scheduled basis. All services are administrated by our highly trained bi-lingual staff. Health Supervision and Nursing Care
- Full-time RNs (Registered Nurses) are always on duty to ensure skilled nursing and medication compliance
- Full-time LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) are on duty to administer physician prescribed services
- Medical assistance is available for all triage and vital signs
- CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) are present to assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Livings) at all times

Who can use ADHC? Participants of Otrada ADHC (Adult Day Health Center) are adults who are:
- Physically impaied
- Socially isolated
- In need of ADLs (active daily life’s) assistance
- Mentally confused
- Limited in their ability to function independently in the community
- Anyone over 18 years of age in need of skilled nursing service
Who is eligible? - Adults who have medical diagnosis that causes impairment, but does not require 24 hour care in a nursing home
- Adults who need ongoing assistance with ADLs (Activities for Daily Living)
How can I qualify? In order to qualify for the program you must have an identified medical condition, be under regular care of the physician and be able to spend six hours at the center

How many days a week can I come to Otrada ADHC (Adult Day Health Center)? Upon admission you will be evaluated by a Register Nurse . RN in conjunction with your Doctor will determine the optional schedule to fit your individual needs
How long do I have to stay at the center? The program is for a minimum of six hours a day, not including transportation time.
How will I get to Otrada ADHC? Otrada ADHC (Adult Day Health Club) will provide you with transportation to and from the facility from Needham, Newton, Dedham, Wellesley, Natick, Framingham, Wayland, Waltham, Watertown, Brighton, Allston, Chestnut Hill, Brookline & West Roxbury. In addition, we will provide you with transportation to your physician appointments
How can I pay for Adult Medical Care? Services provided by Otrada ADHC (Adult Day Care Club) are covered 100 % by Medicaid, but only to qualified individuals.
